Special Hotel Rates Available in the Amputee Coalition National Conference Hotel Room Block at Renaissance Orlando SeaWorld Hotel
Hotel Room Rates: $169 for Standard Rooms (Single/Double)
Additional hotel fees include: $20 resort fee plus tax (12.5%).
Note: All hotel accessible rooms are reserved in the National Conference room block. The Amputee Coalition will assign accessible hotel rooms to attendees by the greatest need based on level(s) of limb loss and limb difference.

Self-Parking
Self-Parking at the Renaissance hotel is free for conference attendees who are staying at the Renaissance. When you check-in at the hotel, let the staff know that you are self-parking and they will code your room key so you can use it to enter and exit the parking lot.

- If you are driving to the hotel but not staying there, the self-parking rate is $36 per day (plus tax).
- Valet parking for anyone using that service is $50 per day (plus tax) even if you are staying at the hotel.

For those who need to secure a wheelchair or electric scooter for the conference, K&M Mobility Scooter Rentals is a full-service mobility equipment rental provider located in Orlando, FL. K&M will deliver your item to the hotel bellman and pick it up from there based on your reservation order with them. Please contact them directly to reserve and make payment.
Wheelchair – $70 flat rate 1-7 days
Smaller electric scooter (up to 300 lbs) 1-3 days $75 flat rate. Each additional day is $25 up to 7 days.
Larger electric scooter (up to 400 lbs) 1-3 days $90 flat rate. Each additional day is $30 up to 7 days.

- What are the current discounted hotel rates?
- The hotel rate is $169 per night.
- Additionally, there is a $20 per night resort fee, and 12.5% tax.
- The resort fee includes:

- Is travel included in the conference registration fee?
No, travel is not included in the conference registration fee.
- Is the conference registration fee a daily rate or does it cover all three days?
The conference registration fee covers all three days and is a one-time fee.
- What is included in the conference registration fee?
The conference registration fee includes access to all general sessions, breakout sessions, clinics, access to the exhibit hall, and all meal functions.
- What will the schedule look like?

- What airport should I fly into?
The closest airport is the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and is approximately 13 miles from Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld.
- Will transportation from the airport be provided?
Transportation will not be provided to and from the airport. The hotel does not offer a shuttle service.
- What are the criteria to receive a scholarship?
To qualify for a scholarship, you must have a financial need and be a person living with limb loss or limb difference.
Scholarships cover registration fees only.
- Do I have to pay the full price if I only want to attend conference one day?
No, one-day conference registration is now available for $199.
- If my child wants to attend and I plan to accompany them, do I need to pay full price?
There is a discounted rate for family members. Children 17 and under also have a discounted rate.
- Will there be scooters available to rent?
Yes, scooters are available for rent. Please visit the Accessibility tab above for information on how to rent scooters.
- Is food included in the registration fee?
Yes, we will provide breakfast and lunch on Thursday and Friday. Breakfast only will be provided on Saturday morning.
- Is there a hybrid option?
No, but recordings of select sessions will be made available.
- Are there group rates?
Groups with 10 or more attendees will receive a $25 credit per attendee registration. To receive the group discount and be admitted to the conference, all registrations must be paid in full.
- What days should I arrive? What days should I leave?
The conference will begin on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, and will end on Saturday, August 5, 2023.
