The redesigned Ambassadors and Community Champions program is an opportunity to engage with Amputee Coalition social media, resources, events, and the community of people who have limb loss and limb difference using one’s own social media platforms and sharing journeys and experiences.
There are 2 engagement options:
- Influencing – Using personal social media networks to encourage members of the limb loss and limb difference community to engage with Amputee Coalition and will promote resources and upcoming events by sharing and reposting content provided by Amputee Coalition. 1x monthly commitment.
- Must have at least 1 social media account.
- Storytelling – Participating in sharing one’s story, journey, challenges, resources, etc. via Thrive blog and own social media. 1x quarterly commitment.
- When opportunities arise for virtual events, National Conference, inMotion magazine, podcasts, vlogs, or other Amputee Coalition hosted events, those who engage in this selection will be offered further participation.
This program was relaunched in spring 2024 as part of Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month. Once you sign up, you will receive quarterly emails and should expect to receive the first one to come by July 2024.
