Resources by Topic

People with limb loss have particular information needs. Below you will find current and archived issues of our e-publication, Topic of the Month, which focuses on resources related to amputation, health, recovery, disability and general interests of people with limb loss. Topics link to full-text inMotion articles, other helpful organizations and Web sites or highlight available books, videos and research on the subject.

Topic of the Month is a useful information guide for amputees, caregivers and medical professionals. We add new topics and update archived editions on a regular basis. Many more resources can be found by searching our online library.

Most of the topics for the resource list are chosen in accordance to popular requests coming through the ACA's web site or from popular articles relating to its most recent inMotion or FirstStep magazines. The publication also seeks out any relevant news updates, industry or regulation changes, and any other 'hot topics' concerning amputees and limb loss. We want to do everything we can to keep those with limb loss up to date on current and important issues.
