National Conference Program Update

The Coalition staff has been working hard to assemble the program for our upcoming National Conference. We are pleased to announce that the conference program has been updated on our Web site. You will see that this year’s Conference offers a mix of sessions and clinics on topics that are always important to our attendees as well as sessions that focus on current issues in the limb loss community. Once again, our Conference will feature the following sessions/clinics:

  • Living With Your Level of Limb Loss” sessions for individuals with unilateral below-knee, bilateral below-knee, unilateral above-knee and hemipelvectomy/hip disarticulation amputations, as well as sessions for caregivers and children
  • Roundtable discussions for men, women, caregivers, and members of the LGBT community
  • Bob Gailey’s Amputee Sport and Performance Clinic
  • Kevin Carroll’s Bilateral Above-Knee Mobility Clinic
  • A Gait Analysis Clinic
  • An exclusive session track for individuals with upper-limb amputation

Additionally, we are proud to offer exciting sessions on the following topics:

  • Virtual Support and Education Through Second Life
  • Sports Prosthetics 101
  • Insurance Fairness
  • Navigating the VA System

These are just some of the exciting educational opportunities available at the Amputee Coalition 2015 National Conference.
