Beautifully Broken

I am 45 years of age my story starts 20 years ago as of June. I was in a vehicle accident and crushed my right foot in a million pieces as the Doctor put it, so as we discussed the next move I went into surgery thinking I was going to lose my foot. Well, l the Doctor decided to try and save it knowing I would need more surgeries and trauma. Nevertheless I moved on, dealt with the 13 surgeries as I worked full time and between. In 2009 I had to be taken off work because my foot was literally crumbling. In February of 2015 we decided to do the amputation. Best thing I ever did. It’s been a rough road, but it has made me a strong person and I want to share my story with others. It can and has been done, it just takes help and sometimes the hardest thing in the world to do is ask for help. I finally did and I believe my destiny is to help others. Live strong, live free, be free of fear and know there is always an ear that will hear. It will be a positive outcome because we must move on strong.
