Expertise Area | With more than 25 years of experience in varying roles, my focus for the past 7 years has been on patient advocacy and education within the limb loss community, working with Freedom Innovations (now Proteor), the Amputee Coalition, and AOPA. I am a member of the Amputee Coalition’s Scientific and Medical Advisory Committee, and co-chair of both the Resources & Advocacy and Implementation Facilitation Task Forces of the Limb Restoration Rehabilitation Group of the ACRM. |
Why I volunteer for the AC | I have 29 years of experience being an above the knee amputee, and am a Certified Peer Visitor, and a legislative Lead Advocate for the limb loss community. With my passion for patient advocacy, my mission is to use my personal and professional experiences to advance the education, care, and opportunities of those living with limb loss. |
