My life with lots of uncertainty

I have been an amputee since September, 2015, when I was hit by a truck driven by a man who was texting and driving. He had no insurance and was driving his girlfriend’s truck with liability only. This insurance only covered $25,000 on my medical bills which totaled over 1million. I lost my best friend and an now left to worry how am I going to survive to have a life of my own. I can’t believe people can drive with this small amount of coverage for medical bills. This needs to change. Sadly enough, I had to depend on my own insurance to pay the bills. Trying to find the help I need for a handicapped life style has been very hard, and now I also worry about health insurance coverage for myself as an amputee.
