Amputee Kiteboarder

My name is Frances. I am a below-knee amputee, a U.S. Army veteran, and a kiteboarder.

I help out groups of veterans through the sport to find their next mission as well as a new hobby and to be part of a great community. I like sharing my skills to inspire others who go through hardship and feel alone.

Being an amputee is a long journey … one that doesn’t end and has to be taken by day, but seeing how others in the same or similar circumstances push through and succeed creates a smile and inspiration to keep on pushing one day at a time.
