2021 Virtual Volunteer Summit
The Amputee Coalition Volunteer Summit is a FREE, one-day virtual event for Certified Peer Visitors as well as Support Group Leaders whose support group is registered with the Amputee Coalition. Our Volunteer Summit is a unique opportunity to unite active peer support volunteers who share a passion for and expertise in supporting individuals and families living with limb loss and limb difference.
During the Volunteer Summit, Amputee Coalition staff will share new information, host small group activities, and lead roundtable discussions to help further develop the leadership, communication, and facilitation skills of our valued volunteers. We want to do everything we can to support the great work being done by our CPVs and Support Group Leaders throughout the country.
Immediately following the Volunteer Summit, we will host a special online networking session to get to know other Amputee Coalition peer support volunteers and engage with the Amputee Coalition Peer Support team. By networking with one another, our peer support volunteers will meet or reconnect with fellow volunteers, share stories, and swap ideas for how to make sure our community members feel connected to one another and to the Amputee Coalition for support and resources.
The 2021 Volunteer Summit will be held virtually on Wednesday, March 10 from 6 – 9 p.m. ET with optional networking from 9 – 9:30 p.m. ET. We are hosting the Volunteer
