Flying into DC and Transportation from the Airport(s)

The Renaissance does not offer an airport shuttle.  Below is useful information when planning your travel   There are three major airports in the Washington, DC region: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (airport code: DCA), Washington Dulles International Airport (airport code: IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (airport code: BWI).

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is located just across the Potomac River in Virginia and is the closest airport to DC.

Reagan Airport is accessible via its own Metro stop, estimated cost of one-way trip to the hotel via metro is $2.50 via the Yellow lines to Gallery Place.

The airport has an open taxi system served by numerous taxi operators. Several taxis are equipped to accommodate wheelchairs in storage. Patrons who need taxis with wheelchair lifts are encouraged to contact a taxi operator directly in advance of going to the curb. This will save time versus waiting at the curb for an accessible vehicle to be called by the dispatcher. Contact taxi dispatch at 703-417-4333. To catch a taxi, look for the official taxi stand outside of baggage claim, average cost to downtown DC is $20.00.

Rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft are also good options to get to and from the airport.
