Dave Coen: 71 Years Young
I lost my right leg below the knee two years ago and became an amputee. My left ankle was also frozen. Before that, I snowboarded for 20 years. Six months after I lost my leg l went back to snowboarding. I have three legs. One for every day, one for swimming and one for snowboarding. I also went back to work as a heavy equipment operator and just recently retired. I also bike and swim. Last month I went skydiving and just went snowboarding last week. I also Volunteer at Challange Mountain to teach disabled children snowboarding. And, I just started an amputee support group in Charlevoix, Michigan. 71 is just a number!
