Please note that registered support groups are not managed directly by the Amputee Coalition. As more support groups are switching to virtual meetings, or meetings are being canceled, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we highly encourage you to contact the support group prior to coming to a meeting as days/times/format may change.

The Amputee Coalition is hosting weekly online support groups on Thursday evenings, and we want you to be part of them. These meetings are led by volunteer Support Group Leaders from the Amputee Coalition’s Support Group Network. Click here to learn more and register to join us.

An event every month that begins at 5:00 pm on day First of the month, repeating indefinitely

Our group will provide a place for people with amputation(s), their families, and caregivers to get support and make connections and friendships with others in their community. Our goal is to offer a casual place for monthly opportunities to connect, share, and learn about resources and life after amputation. Guest speakers, activities, information offered at each meeting. Just show up!
The Catawba Valley Community Amputee Support Group meets the first Tuesday of each month, from 5pm-6pm at Catawba Valley Center for Rehab, 3246 6th Ave SE, Hickory, NC  28602.
