Register/Update Your Support Group

Please note that registered support groups are not managed directly by the Amputee Coalition. As more support groups are switching to virtual meetings, or meetings are being canceled, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we highly encourage you to contact the support group prior to coming to a meeting as days/times/format may change.

The Amputee Coalition is hosting weekly online support groups on Thursday evenings, and we want you to be part of them. These meetings are led by volunteer Support Group Leaders from the Amputee Coalition’s Support Group Network. Click here to learn more and register to join us.

Camp Open Arms

August 16, 2021 - August 21, 2021

University of Maryland Orthopaedics invites you to register for the 7th annual Camp Open Arms, taking place August 16-21, 2021. Camp Open Arms offers a carefree, safe and supportive environment for children with limb differences where they can make friends, grow their confidence and participate in a wide variety of fun summer camp activities.

Camp Open Arms is not only a place of acceptance and happiness for children with limb differences, but also for their parents and loved ones who build camaraderie and hope together.

We will be following all CDC guidelines to ensure the health and safety of every camper and staff member. The sole focus for the children is to enjoy being kids and have fun building lasting friendships and memories.

To register or for more information about this year’s summer camp, contact Christina Leos at or 410-683-4107.

For those who are unable to attend this year but still wish to make this opportunity possible, please consider donating to Camp Open Arms. It is because of our supporters that we can offer camp at no cost to families. You can join or start a fundraising page at
