In addition to our inpatient services, Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute is an established provider of outpatient rehabilitation. We have over 20 outpatient clinics across central Arkansas with an experienced team of more than 60 occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists and neuropsychologists.
Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute coordinates care to assist patients with limb loss at each stage of recovery, from inpatient post-operative acute rehabilitation to prosthetic training in both inpatient and outpatient settings. We work closely with prosthetic providers to assure individuals achieve the best results with their prostheses. If needed, our Wheelchair and Seating Clinic assists with making decisions and obtaining equipment which will best meet mobility, safety and independence needs.
To make a successful transition to home and community, Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute provides unique opportunities such as David’s Village and Driver Rehabilitation. David’s Village is a simulated setting which includes a detailed replica of a grocery store, restaurant, and gas station. This gives patients the opportunity to practice and succeed at real-life skills. Our Driver Rehabilitation program helps get our patients back on the road safely and independently. Additionally, many of our patients find our peer support network helpful during and after the transition to their life at home and work.
