2018 Scholastic Scholarship Awards
The Amputee Coalition would like to recognize the generous donors who have established scholarships to help young adults living with limb loss further their scholastic careers.
The Scott Decker, MD, Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Madelyn Hubbs. Madelyn will be entering as a freshman at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, and is planning to study occupational therapy. Her goal is to help kids just like her!
The Christina Skoski, MD, Scholarship has been awarded to David Gelfand. David will be a sophomore at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts in the fall of 2018. He plans to study mechanical engineering. He hopes to work on designing devices to help people with physical challenges live more active lifestyles.
