Amputee Coalition of America’s Paddy Rossbach Youth Camp

Thank You to Our 2009 Amputee Coalition Youth Camp Sponsors and Donors!

The tenth Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) Youth Camp would not have been possible without our sponsors and individual donors. Their contributions contributed to the success of this life-changing program.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention continued its support of the 2009 youth camp.

2009 Amputee Coalition Corporate Sponsors

Otto Bock Health Care
Otto Bock Healthcare
is a Diamond-level corporate sponsor of the ACA. Each year, they host a cookout for their employees in Minneapolis and Salt Lake City, which gives employees a chance to learn about the ACA youth camp and contribute funds to send youths to camp. Otto Bock matches all employee donations from multiple Otto Bock company locations.

Ohio Willow Wood - free the body...free the spirit
Ohio Willow Wood (OWW)
is a Bronze-level corporate sponsor of the ACA. Their generous gift of support for camp helps to provide camp counselor training, camp T-shirts, the ACA Camp Idol event, and camper scholarships. This year, 31 OWW employees also volunteered their time at the ACA Camp Idol event.

Hanger Prosthetic and Orthotics logo
Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics
is a Gold-level corporate sponsor of the ACA. They also provided an in-kind donation of a videographer/producer to create a short promotional video for camp. This video will help the ACA spread the word and raise additional support for this amazing program.

Individuals

Thank you to the countless individual donors who played a significant role in raising support to make the 2009 Amputee Coalition Youth Camp possible. Each donation brings us closer to offering this program to more children each year. The 2009 camp would not be possible without the creative efforts of people like Doug Moore of Pennsylvania, who collected over $7,000 for camp by asking friends and family to sponsor him to ride 250 miles on his stationary bike, and Melissa Shaw of Washington and longtime camp counselor, who collected over $2,000 by also asking friends and family to help support the youth camp. On behalf of the young members of the ACA, we thank you.
