Lenny Pad Campaign

Meet Lenny!
Lenny the LLEAP frog has been a member of the Amputee Coalition for some time now. Many of you may not have met him before, but Lenny is excited to be part of camp this year. Lenny is the mascot for the Amputee Coalition program called the Limb Loss Education & Awareness Program (LLEAP). This program was developed as a curriculum to help raise awareness about limb loss and difference. Lenny loves being active and playing. Lenny was born in a pond in the Smoky Mountains. He experienced limb loss as a result of a lawnmower accident. Lenny wants to help send more youths with limb loss to camp this year and has agreed to help us raise money for camp. From now until the end of April prosthetic facilities will be displaying our camp poster in their office and will be asking for $1 or more donations to the Amputee Coalition Youth Camp. Look for the results of the program in the July/August issue of InMotion.

We would like to thank the following Amputee Coalition of America Corporate and Facility members for being part of the Lenny Pad Pilot Program to help raise support for the Amputee Coalition Youth Camp. From now until the end of April the following facilities will be asking donations of $1 or more to the Amputee Coalition Youth Camp.

The Amputee Coalition of America would like to thank the following sponsors and individuals who are supporting the 2009 Amputee Coalition Youth Camp!
Without the continued support from organizations, the ACA Youth Camp would not be possible. Each year we attempt to develop and improve partnerships among our sponsors. We are always looking for new ideas and new partners. If you are interested in being a part of this amazing program contact us with your ideas.
