The Amputee Coalition Youth Engagement Workforce Development program is designed to assist high school youth 15-17-year-olds living with limb loss and limb difference with career and professional development training for the workforce. The program elevates school-to-career opportunities for career exploration, mentorship, life skills, resume writing, professional profile assistance, mock interviewing, support interviewing, and how to search/apply for internships and summer job opportunities.

The Amputee Coalition Youth Engagement Program (YEP) includes life skills resources, education and training, youth camp, workforce development, and mentorship inclusive to all youth with a vision to significantly expand the targeted reach to African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian, Pacific Islanders, and LGBTQ youth and teens with limb loss or limb difference through a technology platform to share life skills, training programs, and mentoring to foster pipeline employment and career progression.

Your financial contribution to the Youth Engagement Program supports ongoing activities and vital programming including the 2024 Paddy Rosbach Youth Camp at Camp Aranzazu in Rockport, Texas July 15-19, Youth Engagement Program Youth Council, Education and Training, and Career Development. Your financial gift will make this happen!

The Amputee Coalition is open 9am-5pm Monday through Friday to help those touched by limb loss. We are available to provide information and assistance to amputees and their family and friends. We can also assist you with donating over the phone.
