Request for Permission to Reprint Articles or Link to the Web Site

The Amputee Coalition of America welcomes requests to reprint or link to our information. However, we must carefully consider all such requests before granting permission. This is necessary in order to prevent copyright infringement, misuse of the Coalition’s materials and inordinate use of staff time to process requests. The Amputee Coalition of America will attempt to respond to permission requests within 3 weeks.

While we are happy to see our information distributed to a wider audience, we must try to ensure that the information is current and relevant. Unfortunately, over time, changes in technology and rehabilitation protocols may reduce the accuracy, appropriateness and “freshness” of certain articles. Therefore, we regret that requests to reprint or link to information that is more than 3 years old may be denied.

Requests to link to the Amputee Coalition of America Web site are free of charge, but must be approved on an individual basis.

Requests to reprint articles will be quoted at the following rates, effective September 5 – December 31, 2008.
