No Limb Loss Support In Budget

In the recent publication of the administration’s proposed budget, many programs and services were significantly reduced or saw funding eliminated. While many policy makers have indicated their intention to develop a budget with the priorities of Congress that may not align with the administration, funding to support the limb loss community remains vital.

The response to early reports of deep cuts to essential programs like Medicaid, research, and food stamps demonstrate a lack of understanding of the impact such cuts would bring, further compounded by a red pen approach to community support organizations demonstrated in the proposed budget.
