Award-winning inMotion magazine, published seven times a year by the Amputee Coalition of America, is the only comprehensive national source of information for people with limb loss, their families, and the professionals who care for them.

Each issue contains articles written by leading orthotics, prosthetics and rehabilitation professionals, reports on new technologies and products designed to increase mobility and self-management skills, articles about the efforts of peer support groups, and personal profiles that spotlight the achievements and triumphs of amputees and those born with congenital limb differences across the country.

Other subscribers include orthotics and prosthetics practitioners, orthopedic surgeons, physical and occupational therapists, doctors, rehab nurses, vocational and guidance counselors, sports and recreation leaders, disability advocates, legislators, and insurance company case managers.

Copies of inMotion are displayed in countless hospitals, clinics, inpatient and outpatient rehab facilities, military medical centers, and prosthetic waiting rooms across the country.

inMotion is mailed seven times a year to subscribers throughout the United States, Canada and overseas. Circulation as of December 2006 is 40,000. A 2005 readership study showed 168,000 readers per issue. Thousands of copies are also distributed each year at national, regional and state healthcare conferences and events.
