The following scholarships are available through the Amputee Coalition:
It is the goal of the Amputee Coalition through the Kathy Spozio Bridge to Ability Fund to reduce or eliminate the financial barriers to attending our national conference for new amputees.
The Bridge to Ability Scholarship provides full Conference registration, covering health and wellness education, technology sessions, special clinics and social networking, as well as lodging expenses and up to $300 in reimbursement for travel expenses.
For the 2014-2015 school year, this fund will provide a $1,000 scholarship to a full-time undergraduate student who has a congenital limb difference or an amputation and who is, or whose parent or legal guardian is, a registered friend of the Amputee Coalition.
The deadline for the 2014 Christina Skoski, MD scholarship has passed. We will begin accepting applications for the 2015 Christina Skoski, MD in January of 2015. Please check back for additional information about the application process.
The Amputee Coalition would like to thank the Barr Foundation for establishing a scholarship to assist children with amputations or limb differences and their families with travel and registration expenses for the Limb Loss Education Day nearest to them. For more information on becoming a recipient of this scholarship please contact Abra Hogarth at 888/267-5669 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
