Spread the word:

We encourage everyone to attend so we can share a unified voice on issues affecting the limb loss community. We need you to let us know if you can attend so that we can schedule meetings with your elected officials and talk to them about some key issues including:

  • Insurance Fairness for Amputees and improving access to prosthetic and custom orthotic care
  • Funding for research and programs that improve the lives of amputees
  • Changes to the Local Coverage Determination Process to ensure we don’t see another Medicare LCD like we witnessed in 2015.

Hill Days includes gathering the afternoon of the 25th to prepare for our visits by reviewing materials, policy points, and how the visits typically go. On the 26th, meetings will occur throughout the day as we are able to schedule them with the congressional offices.

If you have questions about the event, please contact us at federal@amputee-coalition.org.
