We invite all upper-extremity amputees, their families and friends to join us at the 2009 Amputee Coalition of America National Conference and participate in comprehensive educational sessions, informative workshops and fun social events. Through evaluations from the 2008 Conference, we have made changes to include sessions focused on the key elements our past attendees have asked for as well as longer sessions that will offer more time for questions and discussion.

Upper-extremity amputees at the Amputee Coalition National Conference

  • Upper-extremity rehabilitation workshop
  • Adjustment and living well with upper-extremity limb loss/difference
  • Upper-Extremity Tips and Solutions for daily living

Along with these extended sessions and workshops, the ACA will offer conference attendees numerous sessions focusing on topics that have proven important to amputees of all levels. The 2009 presentations will be lead by experts in the field, many of which are amputees themselves sharing their life experiences as well as their professional expertise.
