Thursday, June 18

McKeever's First RideNoon-4pm
McKeever’s First Ride

Sponsored by Orthotic & Prosthetic Assistance Fund (OPAF)

Come horse around with us! Get a taste of therapeutic riding, ride a mechanical horse, enjoy arts and crafts, see a horse show and socialize outdoors at a facility adapted for your safety and comfort. Presented by Chastain Horse Park in cooperation with OPAF, ACA and GA Tech. Meet in Lobby of Hotel, in Front of Elevators. Click here for more information about McKeever's First Ride.

Meet the ACA CEO/President & Board of Directors

Garden Court

All conference attendees are invited to gather in the Garden Court area to meet and greet the ACA CEO/President, Kendra Calhoun and the members of our Board of Directors. New members are especially encouraged to attend this event!

Get an early start on your technology education and enjoy a hearty welcome from your ACA staff! Be sure to play the Disco Fever Game Card while meeting exhibitors and attendees in this fun welcome party with door prizes and refreshments. You will have time to visit the exhibits, learn more about the conference programs and meet friends old and new. This event is included for all registered conference attendees.

Saturday, June 20

ACA’s Dancing thru the Decades Gala Dinner/Party

Garden Court/Grand Ballroom

Dinner in the Garden Court, service 6:15-8pm. Are you a past Disco Queen? Maybe swing of the 50’s was your favorite!
Dress in your favorite music period and join your friends for this fun annual event. Our NEW DJ will play hits from the
40’s to 2008! Prizes and fun are in store for all. Don’t miss this party included in your full conference registration.
Additional tickets may be purchased for $65.00 at the ACA registration area. Tickets available until 3:00pm on Saturday.

Sunday, June 21

7am – Race start time
Achilles Hope and Possibility 5K/1M Run/Walk

Everyone is invited to join amputees from the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans back from Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as other inspiring athletes. Open to ALL runners, walkers and wheelchair athletes. Bring the kids – there’s a 1M Fun Run/Walk too! Registration and further information available at the Achilles Booth in the Garden Court outside the Exhibit Hall. Awards for top finishers in eight categories! Souvenir race-day T-shirts for all participants. Discount for ACA participants.

Peer Visitor Training

Waverly & Wilton

Preregistration by Saturday, June 21st at 3:00pm required. Fee $20, space limited to 40 participants.
Learn how to provide peer support and information for new amputees by participating in ACA’s peer visitor certification program. Participants must have an active paid ACA membership to register and complete the entire workshop to be eligible for certification. Lunch and all materials are provided.
