Amputee Program

The amputee rehabilitation program provides comprehensive rehabilitation to treat the loss of functional ability in patients who have lost a limb. Inpatient and outpatient treatment focuses on: Balance, Strength, Walking, Activities of daily living, Prosthetics and Emotional issues. Our Amputee Support Group meets monthly, and provides ongoing support and follow-up for patients, family and friends.

The Acute Rehabilitation Unit offers intense inpatient services for individuals who have experienced functional loss or disability as a result of an accident, illness or injuries. Designed with input from physicians, clinicians, nurses, therapists and patients, our hospital’s 61 private patient room en suites, amenities and culture provide the best patient experience in comfort and convenience.
