This publication was created in partnership
with the U.S. Army Amputee Patient Care
program for veterans who have lost limbs
during their service. Topics include: the
psychological issues of the amputee soldier,
the disability evaluation process, how to
find the best healthcare in a local area, and
what to look for in a prosthesis.
Senior Step
Senior Step is the first comprehensive
resource guide for the largest population
of amputees (age 50 and older), their
