This bimonthly magazine with a readership of more than 62,000 provides current information for people with limb loss or at risk for limb loss. A primary focus of inMotion is on healthful living and ways to avoid the secondary conditions that stem from diabetes and vascular disease.

First Step – A Guide for Adapting to Limb Loss

This biennial publication is aimed at prospective or new amputees and serves as an introduction to what amputees need to know about life without a limb. Topics include physical and emotional adjustment, rehabilitation, insurance, funding, employment and preventing secondary conditions.

Spanish First Step (Primer Paso)

Translated into Spanish from the 2005 edition of First Step, this publication uses culturally appropriate language and artwork to target Hispanic/Latino Americans, one of the most at-risk groups for amputation.

Connections: The Amputee Coalition of America’s Multicultural Publication

This resource guide for multicultural groups at high risk for amputation includes articles on weight management, foot care, depression and the importance of peer support.

Military in-Step

This publication was created in partnership with the U.S. Army Amputee Patient Care program for veterans who have lost limbs during their service. Topics include: the psychological issues of the amputee soldier, the disability evaluation process, how to find the best healthcare in a local area, and what to look for in a prosthesis.

Senior Step

Senior Step is the first comprehensive resource guide for the largest population of amputees (age 50 and older), their healthcare providers, and those at risk for amputation.

Youth Activities e-Zine (YAZ)

Produced by ACA’s Youth Activities Program, this online publication features articles, events and activities of interest to young amputees.

Expectations: Parenting Children and Teens With Limb Differences

This comprehensive resource guide for parents and caregivers of children and teens with limb differences provides information to assist parents with issues of emotional adjustment, physical activity, and prevention of secondary conditions.
