TULSA — If a giant pink bunny showed up in your living room, would you be surprised?

Todd Huston was.

Friends, family and the Energizer Bunny surprised him at his mother's house with good news Friday. He was selected one of the 10 finalists for the Energizer Keep Going Hall of Fame.

He had been chosen among 100 semifinalists.

The hall of fame honors perseverance and determination, the company said.

Huston, who wears an artificial leg, climbed the highest point in all 50 states in 66 days, 22 hours and 47 minutes. That 1994 endeavor beat the previous record set by a nonamputee by 35 days.

The winner of the Keep Going Hall of Fame will receive $10,000 cash and $5,000 to be donated to a charity of their choice. The winner will be announced in St. Louis alongside Cal Ripken Jr., the hall's inaugural member.

If he wins, Huston said he'll donate the $5,000 to the Amputee Coalition for America.
