We really appreciate your help. The fight is not over. Update: Unfortunately, the LHHS override failed by just a couple of votes. It was a valiant effort -- 66.2 percent -- but 67 percent was needed. As reported yesterday, leaders are still trying to reach compromise on the appropriations bills, hoping to meet somewhere between President Bush's funding levels and the Congress' numbers. While the White House was not immediately supportive, we will certainly work toward a bill that provides the greatest increases possible and protects the ACA’s National Limb Loss Information Center.
