Top athletes featured include Natalie Du Toit, the first amputee swimmer to compete in both the Olympics and Paralympics, American Jeff Skiba, the first amputee to clear seven feet in the high jump, American sprinter April Holmes, the world's fastest woman amputee, the US men’s wheelchair basketball team and the Chinese women's wheelchair basketball team. Many of the athletes in this program will also compete at the Beijing Paralympics Games which kick off on September 7 -- 14 days after the close of the Olympics. The program will air on September 2 at 6:00 am, September 5 at 11:00 pm and October 5 at 4:00 pm. These are all EST. As far as known, this will be the only Paralympic-related television broadcast airing in the U.S. as the Beijing Paralympics begin on September 6.
