You are invited to compete in the O&P Extremity Games™ by College Park on July 28-29 at the Orlando Watersports Complex in Florida.  This first-of-its-kind amateur extreme sporting competition is open exclusively to athletes with limb loss or limb differences.

Organized to raise awareness of the ability of amputees and people with related disabilities, the O&P Extremity Games will give athletes, ages 13 and older, the opportunity to not only demonstrate skill, persistence and passion, but also to defy any preconceived notions of weakness or inability, as they compete in four judged competitions:

·        Skateboarding

·        Rock climbing

·        Wakeboarding

·        BMX biking

On July 30, the O&P Extremity Games will also offer free instructional sporting clinics from 10a.m. to 1p.m. at the Orlando Watersports Complex. Regardless of your current ability – beginner to advanced – instructors will be on hand to provide useful tips and technical instruction, practice, review and repetition in skateboarding, rock climbing, wakeboarding and BMX biking. These free clinics are open to all individuals, age 13 and older, with limb loss or limb differences. Attendance is limited and preregistration is required.

In support of College Park’s presentation of the first O&P Extremity Games, the Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) has joined as health and education partner. O&P Business News is the official media publication, and Disabled Sports USA and the Wounded Warrior Project are also joining as partners.
