Both bills are headed to the floor for a vote!!! The Iowa Senate bill (Senate File 508) was passed by the Senate Commerce Committee on Thursday afternoon with only one dissenting vote (Senator Steve Kettering from Lake View). And the Iowa House bill (House File 791) was also passed by the House Commerce Committee on Thursday afternoon by a vote of 16-4. Both bills will receive new numbers next week and are then eligible for debate on the floor of both chambers. Thank you to those of you who have taken action!!
