Your mother just lost her foot to diabetes complications. Your child was just born with a limb difference. Your brother was just in a terrible accident and lost an arm. Where do you turn for help? Information specialists at the organization’s National Limb Loss Information Center (NLLIC) will send you information specific to your needs so that your family can start to heal and get back to life.

Fast forward a few months or years. You’ll still need information regarding prosthetic technology, preventing secondary conditions, exercise programs or caregiving, and the NLLIC will still be there to help. Doctors, physical therapists and teachers will also want to learn more about your recovery or how to help you resume life. Where will they go for answers? The NLLIC, of course!
