The 2005 edition of the Amputee Coalition of America’s biennial publication First Step - A Guide for Adapting to Limb Loss is now available!

First Step offers readers reliable information on questions that have been raised time and time again by amputees attempting to make educated choices, get better services, or decide on available options. New amputees are encouraged to call the ACA to receive their free copy today!

First Step, the premier publication for new amputees, is divided into the following six sections to answer questions prospective or new amputees face:
