eBay Policy Requires ACA to Extend Auction
Beginning in July, the ACA will list one travel item per month, along with additional donated items, through the end of the year.

After the AuctionHouse opened on June 12th, the ACA was notified of an eBay and MissionFish policy that restricts the number of travel items that can be sold to one per month. It is our understanding that this policy is intended to protect potential buyers. Since the two Southwest Airlines tickets were purchased using “Buy It Now” on the first day of the auction, we cannot begin listing remaining travel items until July.

Beginning in July, we will list one travel item per month, along with additional donated items, through the end of the year. The following items will be available for auction during the time frames listed:

July 1st -7th  Champagne Sunset Sailing Cruise - Package for 4
August 1st – 7th  2-Day Stay, River Terrace Inn, Napa Valley California
September 1st-7th  Week stay in cabin on Heron Island in Puget Sound (Washington State)
 October 1st -7th  2 Cape Air tickets
November 1st -7th    Biplane Adventure Tour

Due to time restrictions, the ACA will be unable to list the publicized Aruba vacation on eBay. You may bid on this item by faxing your bid to 865/525-7917 Attn: Meredith P. Goins. We will accept bids until midnight, Saturday, June 18th. The ACA will notify the highest bidder by Monday, June 20th, at which time we will contact them for payment information. To view a description of this weeklong vacation in Aruba, please visit our Web site at: http://www.amputee-coalition.org/aca_auction.html.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of the Amputee Coalition of America.

100% of the proceeds from these auctions will continue to assist the ACA in reaching out to those with limb differences and empowering them through education, support and advocacy.
