“We are so very proud to receive Denny’s generous support for our Youth Camp. Denny’s contribution helps us offer children with limb loss and limb difference a really unique camping experience that focuses on leadership development, nutrition education, and physical fitness, improving self-esteem, creating positive social interaction, developing peer support, and, of course, having a great time,” said Paddy Rossbach, President and CEO of the Amputee Coalition of America.

Debbie Atkins, Denny’s Director of Public Relations of Denny’s, in presenting the $15,000 donation to the ACA, said “We are very excited to be able to help the ACA reach more young people through its Youth Camp. We know that this special experience will have a lasting and positive impact on their lives.”

There are an estimated 70,000 individuals under the age of 18 living with limb loss in the United States.

Other sponsors of the Amputee Coalition of America Youth Camp include Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Blaze Sports, Otto Bock HealthCare, Ohio Willow Wood, the Orthotics and Prosthetics Assistance Fund (OPAF) as well as with hundreds of individual contributors.
