The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) is accepting applications for their Access For Athletes grants, which fund recreational as well as competitive and elite athletes.

These annual grants average between $200 and $3,500 each and fund equipment, training and competitions for those with amputations, blindness, spinal cord injury, polio, spina bifida, cerebal palsy and other disabilities.

The primary goals of these grants are to increase physical activity of the disabled, by providing sports equipment, sports prosthetics and competition grants, and to lead the challenged athletes to increase their independence, self-esteem, sense of worthiness, sense of accomplishment and their physical fitness and activity levels.
