2014 Combined Federal Campaign – The Amputee Coalition’s CFC number is 98848.

Make your Combined Federal Campaign pledge at your workplace. Here’s how your CFC pledge to the Amputee Coalition (CFC #98848) impacts the lives of people affected by limb loss.

  • Supports our National Peer Support Program, which provides one-on-one support to new amputees and families so that no one goes through this journey alone.
  • Supports our National Limb Loss Resource Center, which provides resources to amputees, families and healthcare providers across the country through online resources and response center staff who provide in-person, interactive knowledge resources by phone, e-mail and mail.
  • Supports educational programming delivered through our National Conference, local Limb Loss Education Days and Social Media sites for people affected by limb loss.

The Amputee Coalition’s work has been shown to improve recovery and readjustment after limb loss, to increase feelings of self-sufficiency and self-confidence of amputees, and to provide community connections and peer networking that helps amputees and families “get their lives back.”

As you may know, the CFC provides all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for others through philanthropy. The CFC is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with more than 300 CFC campaigns nationally and internationally, helping to raise millions of dollars each year. Pledges made during the campaign season (September 1 to December 15) support eligible nonprofit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.
